When You Know Something’s Wrong—But the Tests Say You’re Fine

what's my body telling me? Sep 23, 2025

If you’ve ever walked out of a doctor’s office holding “normal” test results—but still feeling like your body is shutting down—this is for you.

You’re not crazy. You’re not dramatic. You’re not fine.

The truth is, standard blood tests can often miss the earliest signs of dysfunction—especially in women. Symptoms like:

  • Dizziness and heart palpitations
  • Sudden food intolerances or bloating
  • Skin rashes or acne flares
  • Insomnia or waking wired at 2am
  • Brain fog, fatigue, mood swings
  • Irregular or painful periods

These aren’t nothing. They’re your body’s early warning system. Unfortunately, most healthcare models only validate what's measurable in black and white numbers. And by the time something shows up? You've often been suffering for months (or years).

So what can you do when nothing makes sense—but everything feels off?

  1. Validate your symptoms. You don’t need a lab result to justify how you feel. You know your body.
  2. Track your patterns. Use a journal or app to track energy dips, cycle changes, triggers, and flare-ups. Look for patterns your doctor might miss.
  3. Support your Four Fundamentals™:
    • Nervous system: Are you living in fight or flight?
    • Metabolism: Are you under-eating, skipping meals, or living off coffee?
    • Blood sugar: Do you crash at 3 PM, crave sugar, or wake up wired?
    • Nutrients: Are your minerals (like magnesium, sodium, potassium) depleted from stress, poor sleep, or overtraining?
  4. Get deeper testing. A Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) can often reveal what traditional tests don’t—like chronic stress patterns, mineral loss, or hidden imbalances. You can learn more about this here.
  5. Remember: healing isn’t linear. You don’t have to overhaul everything overnight. Sometimes, the most radical thing you can do is slow down and tune in.
